There are four slabs exclusively left at the South Plainfield, NJ facility at the moment. The Renoir granite changes in color tone and pattern over time with each shipment because it's such a unique stone. The reason it changes is because it is natural stone, and as you mine further in the quarry the natural look of the stone changes. This does not happen for all stones, for example solid colored or very consistent pattern stones do not have that much over time, but because of the beautiful, wild movements and veins of the Renoir, it can look quite different over the years. I think the work example is more representative, but you can email the Plainfield sales office (spsales@Marmidicarrara.com
) and have them snap a photo of the actual slabs in-stock right now and send it over to you. I think that would be a good idea. Hope this helps!

Do you still have this? The colors in the work examples don't look like the colors in the slab pictures. Which is more representative for this granite?

02:53PM, Dec 27 2011 My thoughts are that if it's in your budget and you are attracted to the stone, then go for it! Make sure to look at the full slabs in-person as the Renoir is even more impressive in-person. Acquire a sample to bring home and see if you enjoy the way it looks next to your cabinets and flooring. Hope this helps.

02:57PM, Dec 22 2011 If you like blue granites, check out Blue Pearl, Blue Bahia and Azul Aran. Keep in mind blue granites tend to be on the expensive side as blue is a premium color in stone. I would recommend getting estimates in case you have a budget, but if you don’t, the Renoir is a stunning and one of a kind choice that will definitely steal the show.
  • Mhchinn 02:38PM, Dec 22 2011 Would Renoir be a good choice for a kitchen with white cabinets and medium oak floor? Any other suggestions?
